That truck is a work of art. Really like the rear bumper and the colors used under the hood.

I was at Del Mar and saw this in person. Man that is some serious craftsmanship in that ride.

I've been watching the build write ups in Truckin'... Seriously sweet truck. Very nice work done there.

this truck has been around in the building stage for awhile(i copied their tubular Cab Mounts haha)The grill looks off to me but it can because 600hp of Hilborn'd Ls2 makes it have the right! that cantilever suspension is amazing to look at an im assuming rides like a Caddy

Thanks Guy for the Good words. We have been working on this truck off and on for about 3 years. We hand made alot of pieces. The grille had been made to one piece with a floating center piece, I was trying to get rid of the cat fish look that the stock grille has. We have about 14 miles on it now and I must say it rides pretty nice and handles even better.

There are a couple hundred Build picks on the shops website, www.ironworksspeedandkustom.com

What is the rear bumper off of? Can I take it for a test drive please?

Kind of looks like a front bumper trimed and tucked.

Re: C6-57 Pics from Del Mar, Classic Trucks top 5 pic

I have been following that truck since I saw the first construction photo in one of the truck magazines. That thing is absolutely beautiful!! I am a fan of first class craftsmanship and attention to detail, and I can't wait to see it in person.

I am building a '55 with some similar body mods, and after looking at your '57, I have to ask......how did you get the body panels (especially the hood) to fit so well? The door gaps are incredible. Tell us a little more about the front and rear bumpers! The front looks like it's been heavily modified to wrap around the lower valence much tighter, and the rear bumper looks familiar, but I can't place it.

Outstanding job, and welcome to the site! I hope you hang around and keep posting those awesome pictures..

I would guess a 58-59 Fleetside Rear bumper with the brackets modified to pull it in and up.

The stock body gaps are nowhere near that close. I'm doing mine now and the only way to close them is to add 1/8 bar stock or weld down the door edge and grind. It takes time but well worth it.DON'T try filling them with mud it will brake out later
