Manual window adjustment?
Guys, I have a problem with my manual windows rolling up and down. Ever since the body shop painted my truck the windows do not want to stay against the vent window channel, does anyone know of an adjustment on these windows that maybe the body shop failed to do when putting the doors bacl together. I even have GM shop manuals that don't tell you anything about the regulator assemblies.

Re: Manual window adjustment?
It sounds like the lower bolt for the rear channel came out, or broke out, or
sometimes the lower bracket breaks off of the channel. Any way the door panal has to come off. |

Re: Manual window adjustment?
Yes CaptKaos it pops out of the vent window channel. Door panels are already off, so I will check the rear bolt and bracket, thanks for the help

Re: Manual window adjustment?
Check the rear adjustment and the bolt, and check your weatherstripping. You may need to have the door panel off to asses it the best.

Re: Manual window adjustment?
Hey Guys thanks for all your help on this issue. I found the problem this weekend and fixed it. When the paint shop put the doors back together, they bolted the rear window channel support in the wrong hole on the inside door skin. I removed the bolt and with a pry bar held the channel against the window with it rolled down and aligned the bracket to the proper hole and replaced the bolt, both windows work like new now, thanks again for everyones advice. It is not always what you know, but who you know. Oh btw I will have new pics of my interior upgrade project from this weekends progress tomorrow, need to download from the camera.
