i was just wondering if any one had a stock speedometer for a 47-54 chevy or gmc that they do not need. in working condition or not and perferably free as i will need to modify it to fit what i am doing . i can't find my orignal one.

Hey man, I have some parts, I removed my guages and used the housing for my Dolphines. I do have the speedo, both glass for speedo and cluster, and the other cluster face (with no gauges, I tossed them). I don't know if you can use them. I can't honestly say it works since I never used it. If your interested in them. You can have em. If you want a pic let me know and I'll get some up.

The '54-'55 1st are larger than the 47-53. That's why I had mine rebuilt.

mine are like the 47-53 guages. my truck is a late 53 that is titled as a 54. thanks Daniel U

what are you looking for a 47-53 or a 54-55 first series. i have a 54 chevy complete set speed and oil,amp,water,gas in good condition all worked when i changed over to autometer set. 50.00 plus s.h.sorry no pics

That's fine...it is going to take at least three weeks for me to complete the truck I thnk givent he amount of time I have to work on it. Interior is back together but I have to hang the wiring harness, figure out the drive shaft, and exhaust....Just let me know if that can work..I have several ot her parts as well...let me know if you need an ything else.
