Why you should not heat your rear coils unless you know what the heck you are doing/ shouldn't do it at all. I kind of hate my p.o. right now...

I won't be. I'm still trying to get it running right now, but I will need a nice set of springs before it moves.

Those are 275/60 and 215/65, rear and front

Looks like 4" springs is what you will need (you have a block in there that looks to be a 2")

I can't figure out how your rearend is mounted... Where is the u-bolt that goes over the axle??? Is it going in from the bottom? I don't like whatever is going on with it...

Do I need glasses or did the P.O. also flip the U bolt and just tighten down the saddle??

Yeah I didnt even notice that, the U-bolt is upside down!!! I didnt even know you be that creative I think I would take out the hollow blocks and use a 6" drop spring or put some bags in there and use new U-bolts installed correctly.

it is atleast 5" like mine or it might be a little lower maybe 6"? but definately more than 4"...

Yes I was amazed, my mouth dropped too. Hope you can turn that around when you redo the drop the correct way.

so which does everybody think is the best way...

4" drop springs with those blocks,
6" drop springs, no blocks,
or bags, which i really don't have the money for, unless someone is selling a rear setup fairly cheap.

also, what is the easiest way to do a c notch w/o a welder readily available?

You can get Airlift Dominator D2600 Bags for about $85/each I would say 6" springs and ditch the blocks personally.

You can get bolt in C-notches that will give you 2-1/4" more clearance IIRC

If you decide to run bags, I would definately run Slam Specialties RE-6's in the rear

If you stay with springs, I would prolly get the 6" drops & ditch the blocks

I'm with Scoti on this one, but I think I'd buy new blocks and u-bolts. Take a good look at those blocks and if they look good you can use them, but you will still need u-bolts...

With the 6" spring you get a heck of an angle on the shocks unless you get shock relocators.

I would really love to have bags, but I just don't think they are within my price range at this point. What would I be looking at for a decent setup for the rear, which I could add onto later for the fronts?
