What started it all...
This is the truck that got me wanting a truck like we all have. I have never seen this until tonight. I don't know if it's the real truck or someone did a remake of it. I had herd it been wrecked so I'm not sure.

Re: What started it all...
If it's not the trader's truck they did a real good job of making it look as though it was anyway it's a bad looking truck. I like the front grille and the color scheme of it. Very nicely done.
Here is the real deal! Here is a bad Blazer too!

Re: What started it all...
I know it’s been a whiled since you posted this thread, but I bought a replica truck of this Red&Blk truck not too long ago and I would like to find out more about this particular one. Was “Traders” the company who made this truck or was it a Magazine? Someone mentioned it came out in an issue of Truckin Magazine does anyone know what year more or less?????

Re: What started it all...
I know this is a very old thread but for the young ones on here now they may never of seen this time machine.
I still love that Traders truck. That was one fine ride back in the day. I know mine will never be that nice but it has given me a bunch of inspiration to build mine over the years. In my world it's timeless!

Re: What started it all...
Sadly I had no truck that got me inspired just this picture on Craigslist begging for me to get it. And it was calling to me. No gear heads in my family but I always wanted to get into it. I should have saved the ad but It hasn't changed yet so the picture isn't adding anything it didn't have when I got her

Re: What started it all...
Back when the truck was built it was the only truck I remember shaved at the time. The common truck guy's didn't do that back then. That was one thing that set it a part from all the rest.
It was the right color to helped. 1972SuperCheyenne, Dirty shoes, is that all you can think of to say!

Re: What started it all...
Here are what some say it looks like now are when these pictures were taken. The orignal truck was so way ahead of it's time. They knew before anyone else where our trucks where headed even back then.
It's so sad that it ended this way though. This supposedly was it after they sold it. A sketch of it. This was it right before the wreck. Not as outstanding in my opinion but still very nice.

I think you need to read the post again man!
I do not own this truck! I just was saying it's what started me on my quest to build mine.

Andy I have to agree. I like it much more in it's first build.
And dirty hi-tops? Those girls are over dressed by today's standards.

Re: What started it all...
Has it ever been comfirmed that this was the trader truck? Either way both trucks looked great. What a shame someone put a lot of time and money into it. Anybody know were the truck currently is?
