S-10 frames ??
ok im having trouble finding a 95+ regcab lwb. I habe found quite a few 92's regcab lwb. my question is what is the difference? I asked a few S-10 guys and they said there is not really any diffrance. So that said what is the reason for people telling me 95+ regcab lwb ?

Re: S-10 frames ??
Not really sure why you are looking for a 95+... I'm in the process of doing my S10 swap right now and I just used a '91 (it was an extended cab so I had to cut 5" from it) but I would think any standard cab long box would work... only thing you are looking for is the correct wheelbase.
Cheers, Ted.

Re: S-10 frames ??
i'm using a 93 s10 reg cab short box. the older s10's are eaiser to convert the gas tank if you are running a carb steup thats about it. the newer s10 98 and up have disk brake rear that is why guys like them so much.

Re: S-10 frames ??
I used an 83 reg cab long bed. As far as I can tell, it doesn't really matter what year. It's all basically gonna be the same stuff to deal with. The newer ones just have more crap to take off if you have the the entire truck to tear apart. Other than that, once you get it down to the frame it's the basically the same.

Re: S-10 frames ??
Not true. Same suspension and brakes all the way. The blazers had rear discs. Only diff should be the gas tank setup.

Re: S-10 frames ??
Not sure if the frame can handle the weight.
Ted.
