Parting out clean 1980 model Chevy truck

I bought this truck to use as a donor for my 63. I'm going to be using some mechanical parts, but all of the body stuff is fair game.

This is a one owner since brand new, never been painted, local Texas truck.

The front clip is excellent, and I do mean excellent. Like I said, original paint.

The bed is unbelievably clean, even for a Texas truck, it's special.

Cab sheetmetal isn't too good. Some rust near the edges of the floor pans. Doors have dents. Apparantly, the guy left the windows down or something to cause rust in floorboards.

Non air truck, non electric door truck.

Tell me what you need and I will quote prices and get pictures. No shipping on the big stuff obviously.

These pictures are for tonight. I can and will get more tomorrow as requested. That's tree sap on the hood and body, not surface rust.

I will get pictures of the engine bay and interior tomorrow when it's light out. I am keeping all of the engine stuff though as well as the steering and suspension and brakes. All of that is going onto my 63.

Kevin, I might be interested in just the rear wheel tubs if they are in nice shape...and if you are willing to pull and ship them...and seperate them from the bed.

Let me try and sell the bed whole for awhile first. If that doesn't work, you are first in line for the tubs

I had it running yesterday. The gauges work. The lens however is very fogged up. The bezel isn't too hot either. Look at the picture and let me know.

I don't know if they interchange. If you find out they do, I'd go 20 bucks for this one.

Interested in the drivers side headlight bezel if it is factory metal and not aftermarket plastic, if you want to sell it separate.

Re: Parting out clean 1980 model Chevy truck

It looks like the whole front clip is spoken for. I will know for sure after this weekend.

I still have the park brake pedal if dammitmichel wants it still.

Re: Parting out clean 1980 model Chevy truck

Fellas, if you need anything, step up quickly. The cutting torch is coming out Tuesday morning and this thing is going away this week.

So far the front clip is gone and the rear wheel tubs are spoken for unless anyone wants to buy the whole bed. I'd rather sell parts and make a few bucks than sell it for scrap prices.

Front clip is already sold and gone. I will be selling the whole steering wheel and horn button as a unit as soon as I pull it off and get the truck disposed of.
