yeah, i would also say its moisture. If it was gas i dont think your truck would be running. You'd have some extremely fowled plugs also...

Re: gas out of tailpipes

When the exhaust is hotter then the inside surface of your exhaust system, you produce condensation. combine that with exhaust gases that slightly cool and you get more condensation.

Re: gas out of tailpipes

Sounds more like condensation to me too. Does the liquid smell like gas?

Re: gas out of tailpipes

hey that's not gas, it's your muffler fluid leaking

all kidding aside, it is just moisture, all cars do this.

but one way to be sure, smell it, taste it, it's just water

I hope you were kidding on the taste it part also, because its far from consumable.

The only engine that makes drinkable water is a hydrogen engine.

Our internal combustion engines will leave deposits of fuel, carbon, oil, carbon monoxide.... I hate to sound like a Green peace member but please do not drink it.

Or we will all suffer from some new Flu Strain... lol

Re: gas out of tailpipes

I would think it would go without saying not to drink a glass of it, but a little taste from your fingertip won't hurt you.

Re: gas out of tailpipes

true, I probably have drank more vehicles fluids on accident. I still wouldn't taste it on purpose.

You have been diagnosed with the new c-20-bb-402 virus AKA Chev Flu.
