Scored some NOS sheetmetal,...
I met a guy at the St. Louis swap meet a couple weeks ago. I got a NOS 81-87 dash pad for $150 from him. He also told me he had some sheetmetal.
So thursday night member "hot trux" and I went on a road trip to meet him. He told us he had 5 fenders and a rh bedside. When we got there he could only find 3 fenders. (He has a ton of stuff,... but it's mainly newer parts, and Mopar stuff) Anyway,... we left with 3 NOS fenders, 1 really nice oem fender from a suburban,... and the best piece of all,... a NOS RH short fleetside bedside. All these parts had been stored for years with out the boxes. Also, one of my fenders had light gray primer sprayed on it. But for the cheap prices,... we couldn't pass them up.

Re: Scored some NOS sheetmetal,...
I'm building.
I have a short fleetside bed that needs this one. I guess I'm on the hunt for a LH bedside now. The fenders I would let go,... but it wouldn't be cheap. I'd have to have $300 each. So most likely I will be keeping them.

Re: Scored some NOS sheetmetal,...
Man.... sounds like you definitely scored at the StL meet, even if you had to make another trip.
Nice score!

Re: Scored some NOS sheetmetal,...
I know what you are saying. Hard to believe I was thrilled to get the "Made in Mexico" stuff.

Re: Scored some NOS sheetmetal,...
I don't know when it shifted to Mexico. I got a front bed panel from GM, "made in Mexico"...didn't fit too well, most the holes had to be opened up. Thickness-wise, it was real nice and GM-like...it just didn't fit too well on my 73 bed.

Re: Scored some NOS sheetmetal,...
Sorry,... Long gone.
I'll start a "for sale" thread when I figure out the prices.
