Re: aluminum radiator?
Love mine, I don't know how to answer the question of "Is it worth it". I picked mine because it's what I wanted.
It's a BeCool unit and it works great and looks even better.

Re: aluminum radiator?
Summit Radiator part # SUM-380331. Its a "universal fit" and worked just fine with new radiator mounting pads both top and bottom.
Suggest getting opinions through this Forum or seach on using the orange GM coolant vs. "the green stuff". Based on what I've since read in this forum, I think I would have used the time tested green coolant (Prestone, etc.) instead of the GM orange (Dextron?) but others may want to weigh in with their opinions. Good luck! Jim

Re: aluminum radiator?
I have a 4 core rad. out of a 72 chevy and it works great. It's not as expensive as an aluminum rad. and it does all the same cool tricks...well minus looking as good.

Re: aluminum radiator?
Mine runs 180 all day long....if I had a 160 thermostat, then it would run 160 all day long. This is with A/C running in so cali with days well over 100 degrees. I have a stock radiator. If your cooling system is functioning properly, there is no reason to run an aluminum radiator IMO. But they do look great on show trucks!

How much horsepower do you gain with a electric fan if any.
