New guy from FL with a 63
Just saying hello, hoping to find some good information on this board.
Currently own a 1963 C10 pick up with a SBC swapped into it. Step-father was nice enough to give it to me as a Christmas present a few years ago. Runs great, drives good too. Just has a little wiring issues and a small oil leak. Looking into dropping a 383 stroker into it, lowering it, disc brakes swap, new wheels, new transmission and make it a nice street rod. Re: New guy from FL with a 63
Im pretty limited on space, I live in an apartment and have a single space garage that I keep the truck in. So its going to be a time consuming project. I have also never been much of a Chevy man, I grew up drag racing Mustangs and thats where most of my knowledge is at.
Being a single military guy makes my time pretty scarce as well. So we will see where this goes. My father is trying to get me to sell the truck and use the money to get another Stang. |

Here is a picture of the wheels im trying to locate. This picture is for a set of Mustang wheels, but I think they would look killer on my truck with a Copper paint job. These are a purchase in the near future when the Disc brake and axle swap is completed. 17x10 in the back with a 17x8 up front
