Re: Sweet surviver !!!!

Good lord. Put some wheels on it, replace the missing trim with an equally beat-up piece, drop it 5/7, and drive the hell out of it.

Re: Sweet surviver !!!!

Is there something wrong with the wheelwell? It just doesn't look right to me. The wheel looks way too far forward?

Nice truck, I agree the price is high.

Re: Sweet surviver !!!!

IMO, if nothing is tampered with (which it looks as though it might be) I would pay 5 grand for it, I think. How many '67 short fleets with the wood bed, all original, do you see any more? Besides, you could probably beat him down a ways, with the way the economy is. Looks like a nice buy for someone if everything checks out.

The wheel well kinda looks outta whack, like a blown tire hit it or something.

Re: Sweet surviver !!!!

ive seen a truck the the driver wheel looked pushed forward like that a flat tire and realy rusty trialing arms brought it forward oneday this truck could be due to something similar
id drive its, and its got that patina look down pretty good

Re: Sweet surviver !!!!

If it was rust free, all original,.... $5k isn't to bad of a price.

I'm still thrown off by the bedside though; it definitely doesn't look right.
