Re: New Here...

Welcome to the board from Mo.! Nice looking truck! Brings back great memories of the 82 that I used to own that I had on 44s. I even had the same exact Warn winch bumper! Mine was light blue. Some day I'm going to get a scanner so that I can post up some pictures of it. I still miss that old truck, but I now own an 86 shortbed K10 with a 4 inch lift and 33s. It's a fun old truck to drive and I don't get hassled by Missouri's finest about my bumpers being too high off the ground! ...Joe

Re: New Here...

Cool truck. I take it the insurance company didn't know exactly what they were insuring until after the accident... glad you're not just giving up on it.

And welcome!!

Pretty much.... but i did have a list of all modifications and prices and a few recipts.... And it was valued at $16,000 It didnt matter... They wanted to give me book value for an 86.. and then deduct my deductuble and I could buy it back for $150 bucks, with a salvage title...I wasnt at fault kid made a u turn in front of me.. Could have sued, still can, just not like that... i figured Ill rebuild the truck and ride threw his parents lawn once a month til i feel were even...
