"New" Shoes

You all will probably think me crazy for this, but I decided to go from these:

to these:

They will look better once I get the proper retrofit lug nuts and put the center caps on, they are the factory rims from the SS 454 my uncle used to have. The rallies were horribly uncomfortable from a ride and handling standpoint and I honestly like the looks of these ones better.

Yeah those look better and will be much safer.
Those tires you had on the front were Way too wide. You shouldn't go any wider than a 235/70 or 255/70 on the front.

Are the old wheels 15x8" or 15x10"?

Re: "New" Shoes

15x10" I believe, the ones I put on are still 275/60 r15s, but on 15x8" rims, I think; still considerably narrower than the ones my brother had put on. Two of the tires I put on need replaced and I have a pair of 235/60s I could put up front, if push comes to shove, though they wouldn't match... I kinda dig the retro white lettering...

thing has some major sway bars on it and handles like its one rails as it is without all the rubber.

Re: "New" Shoes

those look fine...if you keep the same size all the way around you can rotate them and for a daily driver, that is important for tire wear

Re: "New" Shoes

I had those on my truck when I first bought it. I think they look good, better then what you had.
If you like them then that's all that matters.

Re: "New" Shoes

The old tires are 295/50 R15s. Another plus is there is a LOT less chrome to fuss with....
