Bloo's new 350!!
just got finished building it last night.. it's going in as soon as i get a decent day it's not raining. here's the pics!

mwahahaha i was hoping someone would ask that, that's just an illusion, i painted them aluminum (hey it at least needs to LOOK fast) the intake really is aluminum though

Blue, I'll be down soon enough. Damn driving age laws. The motor looks a lot nicer than the motor its replacing. But I don't believe I've seen any pics of the truck, do you have any thread addresses or pics? Thanks

Like the aluminum paint on steel heads :-D did that to our 85 Z/28, fakes ya out! my motor for the step is gonna be LIME GREEN, or HOT ROD GREEN if you go by what plastikote says..

i had to do the aluminum thing, there 305 heads i had to make em at least look good
brabra-- heres a pic of the truck, only one i have of it sinse i repainted it red and white, but this is a "in process" pic |

Hey bloo...the 305 heads are probably gonna choke up that engine. What are you putting on it for a carb?
I had 305 heads on my old 350...had to run 93 octain, and on a real hot(TX) day I would have to add a little booster in the tank, that was with the timing set at like 4 degrees. |

quadrajet, i figured i would probably have to run 93 octane though... i put dished pistons in it too, so that should hold it around 9.5:1 i think... it probably wont run good but it'll sound good, lunati 00012 cam, 246/246 duration and 515/515 lift

Did you install stiffer valve springs? 500 lift is about all a stock spring can handle.
