I.D. tag. I think the serial number might mean it was built in December of 1968.

Yea, I was pretty amazed when I saw that too! Here's the before pic when it was pulled out with the 307.

Seems to work fine for me, only bad thing, once they go out, very expensive to fix and difficult to find parts for. There are some parts still available though. If I had an NP205 handy, that is what I would put in.

I haven't run this one yet. I got it from LeRoy along with a Sm465. Think I'll run it til it blows up and then look for an NP205. Just wondered how it worked for you. Do you think its as good as a 205? Jeff.

I've heard strength wise it is on par with the NP205. Jeep guys like them due to the low rear driveshaft output.
