Foose Nitrous II/BFG 20's (Charlotte) - $3200
Why I am selling.
Here's the deal - I bought these wheels for my Blazer build. I have c4 suspension up front so went with 4.75 bolt pattern all around to match. I ordered the front wheels with the recommended BS (5.25") from Porterbuilt for a dropmember. The story falls apart on the rear. I did tons of research and ordered the rear with 5" of BS because I wanted a lot of lip and knew it would fit with the shorter 67/68 rearend housings. I bought a completely rebuilt rearend with axles with 4.75 lug pattern and was told the housing was from a 67/68. Well I was told wrong. I have a newer housing and my tires barely rub! I have already cut all the lip I can so I would have to cut the rearend down or switch housings. I wanted to try to sell these first and order a set with more BS before I went to all the trouble. I gave 2400 for the wheels from Newstalgai wheels and and $1000 for the tires from Discount tire. Here are specs: 20x8.5 5.25 BS - 245/40/20 BFG Gforce 20x10 5.0 BS - 295/40/20 BFG Gforce Price Reduced to $2000 for wheels or $2600 for wheels and tires. 3/14/10 For more pics see page 2 of build thread here http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...=240991&page=2 Last edited by atp; 03-14-2010 at 06:36 PM. Re: Foose Nitrous II/BFG 20's (Charlotte) - $3200
I have a totally rebuilt 1968 posi rear with 3.73 gears. If you have a posi rear with 3.42 or 3.08 gears that's totally rebuilt maybe we could swap axle housings but keep our own shafts as I need to stay 5x5 bolt pattern. I will pm you my number if you like you can give me a call. Thanks

Re: Foose Nitrous II/BFG 20's (Charlotte) - $3200
Maybe we can still work something out. I'm fine with the 3.73 rear gears and wont be running a wheel that wide so it wont matter to me anyway. Unless we can work something out with the Foose wheels????

Re: Foose Nitrous II/BFG 20's (Charlotte) - $3200
My apologies if this is a dumb question, but aren't the shafts different lengths between a 67/68 and the 69-72 rear ends? If so, how could you swap rear ends and still keep your shafts?
Bump for ya! |

Still trade ya the Plasma for just the Foose wheels. Keep the tires for the Coys and ride on. Or trade ya the Plasma for the Coys with tires. LMK
