Need some help from the older guys
Hey guys I need some help. This is sort of historic auto related so maybe ya'll can help. I am trying to find a book my grandpa used to read to me as a kid about this boy named Charlie who goes on a big summer vaction with family that is friends of his parents. They go from the midwest kinda along route 66 and then up the west coast and back to the midwest. It was filled with tales of all the old roadside attractions. The book is written as his journal entries. I think the book was from the 50s or 60s and was something like Charlie's Summer Vaction. Anybody else remember this book and know the title. I am wanting to try and find a copy to read to my son but can't remember the actual title.

Re: Need some help from the older guys
If no one on this site knows of it, I'd go to the H.A.M.B. and ask those guys. They'll know for sure. www.thehamb.com

You can post this in general discussion. I bet someone there would know.
