How does a C-10 handle with Air Ride - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I have been looking for a C-10 now for many months, I recently came across a nice c-10 with Air Ride system. The truck I purchase I would like it be built as a very nice handling truck. I have never driven a vehicle with Air Ride, was is it like?

Are you talking about a fully bagged truck or a truck that has air ride load lifts added to it. I have the air lift load levelers on mine and when aired up it has no lean in the corners and rides stiff on the road.

It's like you're riding on air! ;o)

I would guess similar to springs if not a better ride. Most all of your 18 wheelers are air ride.
