Re: 5 speed or auto

If you go 5-speed, you'll have to put a hydraulic clutch cylinder in, because the clutch fork is on the other side with the 5-speeds. There are write ups, but it will take a little fabricating skill on your part.

Re: 5 speed or auto

You said you want to "keep it a stick" what's in there now? You can swap in a TKO-500 like I did, use a muncie bellhousing and a mechanical linkage, since all the clutch stuff if still on the driver's side. I used a hydraulic setup, with a Muncie '621' bellhousing, but I had an auto before, therefore no existing clutch linkage. You wanting a big heavy beast like a NV4500, or more of a street/performance trans like a TREMEC?

Re: 5 speed or auto

I have a TKO 600 with approx 150 miles on it. It's brand new basically. I have the complete set-up for a big block. Hydraulic set-up and all. I want to list it on here for sale but I can't because my account is too new. PM me your email address and I'll email you some pics. Parts I have for the install are as follows:

1) TKO 600
2) Ram dual clutch with billet flywheel
3) Quicktime bellhousing
4) Hydraulic clutch/master cylinder
5) TKO 600 yoke
6) Throwout bearing

****PM sent with my price and cell # also.
