64,65,66
I started a thread in the welcome area for the ones that didnt see it. (http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=350334) I love this board. I stay on here for the better part of the day off and on. I have had anything from 67-8 Camaros to Fox Mustangs and Ive been telling myself for years that I was going to get my a 4-5-6 truck. I grew up riding in one and fell in love back then I guess. Ive in the past 2 weeks bought a 64 short bed fleetside, 65 long bed step BIG window, and a 66 longbed. I got the 66 from the orig. owner its showing 77K on it. The short bed I got is going to be my first project. I have drop springs and spindles ordered from CPP and going to do a front crossmember notch. Going to drop it with 3" springs and 2 1/2 spindles up front and 5" springs in the rear. Ive got all the stuff to change to 5 lugs and disc brakes all the way around. Maybe I will have some progress pics in the next few weeks. Here is the other two trucks Ive drug up.

Re: 64,65,66
Very cool CWT. Welcome to the best Chevy truck board on the net! I'm not sure if I've seen a big window long stepper before. So you are going to drop the shorty 7" in front and 5" in the rear? That'll be some serious rake if that's what you are looking for. Most guys drop the rear more than the front to level it out since they are already raked from the factory.

Re: 64,65,66
I rode out there one time when I was about 8 in a Peterbilt. Never been so homesick I dont think. But now I want to do it again only this time in something cool like a old Chevy truck. Maybe one day. I would love to come spend about a month and ride around and check out old cars and trucks setting around out there. And maybe wheel through Dinos and drool some. LOL
