Re: Grounds

I think the dash lighs had 2 or 3 ground wires. Just make sure that you ground it to the dash itself. I think the brake handle had a ground going to it. It's been a while since I swaped mine out. It's really worth it to buy a unversial kit.

a universal or specific to our trucks, i was looking at the wiring and im seriously considering it, id rather have an updated fuseblock, whats the cheapest full wiring kit youve found

with a universal, what do i have to do with all the factory plugs and connections? cut and crimp? lol

Re: Grounds

Well LMC sells a complete kit for our truck, Cost is around 500. been awhile since I've looked. Check out this thread it will help you out. http://www.67-72chevytrucks.com/vboa...d.php?t=344663 And most period correct kits your still going to have to splice your factory ends on, or buy new ones. I bought a Painless for the 64-66 trucks and I had to do the same. My motor was also swaped to a 350 so some things are diffrent. I would go with a kit it clears up a lot of stuff in the truck and gives you extra wires of ACC! good luck!

Re: Grounds

I would look Hilandr up. As I recall he had good information on grounding points.
