gas tank options
i have a 1971 with two gas tanks located under the bed would it be possible to remove the tank behind the seat and just use the tanks under the bed there is a valve on driver side floor to switch tanks any help is appreciated

Yep, did that with my last '68. Luckily the ones in that truck both had sending units for the gas gauge. Not all do.
I actually wired up a electric 2 tank switching valve and wired it so when I fliped a switch, it would change the fuel pick up and which sending unit it used.
