steering column (help)
hey i am working on my steering column and i am trying to take out my shifter stick thing and my signal light stick thing and i cant figure out how to take them out. if any one can tell me how to get them out and also what i should not do when taking this out. i just dont want to mess up my column.

The column shifter handle comes out by removing the pin that it pivots on. The turn signal level is a little more complicated. You have to take off the steering wheel and lock cap to get access to the turn signal switch assembly. Once you can see the assembly you will see the screw holding the level in place.

I never could get the shifter pin out. When I replaced the steering column yesterday, that stupid pin fell right out once the column was out of the truck.
