One weekend paint job
Its a long way from perfect, but my old better is now something Im proud to drive. Done completley with scrapes of paint and materials I had laying around from other jobs. Cost less than 100$ and a weekend of nothing else to do.
Now all it needs is a garage logo on the doors and its good to go another 200K miles. |

Re: One weekend paint job
Wow, beautiful job. I did the same thing to a 72 Nova I had years ago. I was working in a body shop and the owner told me I could have all the left over paint that we had in a cabinet, mostly quart cans half full. I ended up using mostly metallic red, but had to add silver, black, gold and even metallic green. I got lots of comments on that paint job, but everytime someone would ask me what color it was; well....
