Air Compresser
im looking to get my a/c compressor and all fixed. its too damn hot during the summer not to have it. but im not sure what all i would get to get and the estimate on the cost??

Last time I had the AC done on my '77 from top to bottom it was around $1100. I had to have a new compressor and Evaporator (I think thats right, it's the radiator type thing behind the grille). I get the evaporator and condensor mixed up.

On my 83 I only had to replace the compressor clutch and charge it with r134a and that only cost me a little over 100 bucks , but i also did it myself.

thats all i need done to mine, i had a new compressor given to me, but its for vbelt, i have a serpentine system, compressors are identical, anyone have the how to on changing the pullies?

Go to autozone and rent a puller for it. It was a B***H to get it off though. You might have to buy a new serpentine clutch if you mess up the old one pulling it off.
