Re: what trans cross bar for 700r4??

If it's for an auto trans in a 64-66 it will work. I just had to move mine back to the rear set of holes.

Re: what trans cross bar for 700r4??

You can use the auto trans crossmember from most any '67-'87 2wd truck, Suburban or Blazer. You'll just have to drill some holes in your frame to bolt it down. You will also need to get the correct trans mount to fit the crossmember. Most 700R4 trans mounts have a single stud in the center. A lot of the truck trans crossmembers will have 2 holes for the trans mount. The older 2 bolt style mount will bolt right up to the 700R4. This is a better style mount IMHO.
