Waterpump interchangeability
I was lucky enough to get a complete serpentine belt drive system off a 92-S-10 4.3 including all the componets. That included the water pump can I use the same water pump on my V-8 small block? I know it will physically fit but will it keep the V-8 cool? Thanks to anyone that can answer this question.

Re: Waterpump interchangeability
The 92 water pump is a reverse flow. It should keep the engine cool. I used the serp setup off of a C/K truck 88-92. I know there is some difference but I don't know what is different.
