Not truck related but, Les Paul died.
The man was a genius. He revolutionized the music industry. There really hasn’t been anyone (IMO) that has contributed as much as he has sense then. I just read an article about him and how the one of his first solid guitars was actually a 4x4 with steal strings on it, and he played it at a club lol.
Rest in peace. Bryan

Re: Not truck related but, Les Paul died.
I have a '58 Les Paul that I have had for 26 years. I rarely even take it out of the case anymore, but I know it is a great instrument.

Re: Not truck related but, Les Paul died.
He was the first to record more than one track of music at a time. He did a lot for music befind the scenes. RIP

Re: Not truck related but, Les Paul died.
Although I never met the man I feel I know him in many ways. There are so many things that I do, and enjoy today that he pioneered sixty years ago it makes me feel a strong connection. His genius for invention in music was unparalleled in the era. The recording industry changed forever with multi-track innovation. He designed a guitar that decades later remains a favorite... Enough can't be said about him. Oh yeah! He was a pretty good picker too. Thank You Les for all that you shared with us.

Re: Not truck related but, Les Paul died.
I still have the solid body, sunburst Melody Maker Gibson that my Mom bought in 1960ish. it was lower end of Gibson line but it shows up on album covers and such once in a while. still sounds good, 160$ brand new. ... now it is priceless to me.
