M1009 CUCV Wheels ?
Hello
I was poking around and saw that military M1009 blazers come with a 15x8 6 lug steelie. What's the damn deal? I cannot find a company that makes this wheel. I have talked to rally america and they can custom make the wheel for around $100. I want to run my original 10 1/8" hubcaps on a 8" steelie. Here is a pic of my originals. Thanks

Re: M1009 CUCV Wheels ?
About 20 years ago I bought a pair of 6 lug 15x8" wheels from a local wheel supplier that provided snow tire wheels to the public. The stock hubcaps fit, although I was running 54 Chevy caps at the time. They had tons of wheels theys got as take-offs from new car dealerships. You might check to see if there is a local wheel supplier in your area instead of having new ones made.

Re: M1009 CUCV Wheels ?
...and good luck finding the M1009 wheels. I just retired from the military in April. About 9 months ago went sent every M1008/1009/1028 we had to DERMO, and with them their spare tires. I just went back to see if there were any 1009 wheels left laying around but they went to scrap. Yes, if you can find 'em, they are what alot of us are looking for.
