how far to move rearend to center
my truck is currently apart putting in cpp trailing arm crossmember and thoerbeck step notch , i figure might as well move it back a little while i am at it can anyone tell me how much to move it??

It depends entirely on how low the truck is. Because the rearend arcs as it rides up and down, you should decide when you want it centered... while at ride height, or when dropped (I'm assuming bags here, if you're using a static drop, you only get 'ride height'). Once you decide where you want it centered, get it at that height and measure. 1" range is probably a safe bet, but certainly can be more if you're going very low.
I tightened up the gap between my bed and cab to do some of the alignment... and then the trailing arm is, IIRC, 1".

I centered my c-notch for 1.5" but put the truck arms @ 1" for now. Like XXL, I was going to split the difference by shifting the bed forward. If it wasn't enough, I'm good for moving it back another .500".

i am thinking of leaving my crossmember in the same spot but making my trailing arms a inch longer , thanks for everyones input, yes it is bagged with strong arms

I just ordered Porterbuilt's new TA's with +1" added between the spring pads and axle perches
