Need pics of stock brackets....

Assembly?

I don't even know what to call it. Here's the deal, the engine is pretty much done, I replaced the heads and what not, just need to drop the distributor and hook up the lines.

The problem is I put the brackets and bolts how I thought I would remember putting them back together and my neice scattered them all over the front yard.

I need help. It's a stock 350 I just need pictures or a diagram would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

**forgot to mention its an '84**

Re: Need pics of stock brackets....

All of them! I can't figure out how to piece together the brackets that hold the AC compressor, the alternator and what not.

I pretty much have a longblock at this point.

Re: Need pics of stock brackets....

Lay all your brackets out on the floor and snap a pic, then post it. Maybe we can piece the puzzle together that way.

Re: Need pics of stock brackets....

Aww man, the bad luck just doesn't stop. My laptop monitor burned out right after this thread. Luckily I got a new one, but also blew my budget. Anyhow, I'll get the pics up in a bit.

Re: Need pics of stock brackets....

Mine may not have AC, but I can help with the power steering and alternator bracket pics.

Appreciate it the help, I'm mostly interested in how these brackets go to the block and i think some connect with each other?

Any help is appreciated, I need an idea because it's been so long since I worked on this truck and even longer since I saw it complete.

Re: Need pics of stock brackets....

This is pretty much what I'm working on. Already got the intake manifold back on there but everything else is pretty much the same.

Basically just have the crank and water pump on the block.

Re: Need pics of stock brackets....

Ok, that looks to be the same engine I am running, so I'll get those pics up tomorrow for ya. It'll give me something to do while I'm waiting on my friend to get to school.

Well, as promised, here's the pics. The first one is the power steering bracket and the second is the alternator bracket.

Re: Need pics of stock brackets....

I have detailed pics of all of them from my '86. Let me know if you need them. PM me if you do. I'm hardly ever on the board any more, and might not see it.
