U bolt question ( lowered )

I'm in the process of leveling my truck off and have only one place to get custom u bolts made up. I want to run a 2" lowering block but they cannot give me one in the length suggested. Only shorter. With that said what's the minimum length I can get away with? Their over $20 each btw

And if that's not possible I can get 3/4" thread in the correct length.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Re: U bolt question ( lowered )

im just goin by what info is in your post, might help if you gave us more info on the truck and current suspension.

so i guess you already have a flip kit and your wanting to drop it another 2in in the rear? instead goin through all the trouble of new u bolts why not run 2in drop shackles?

Re: U bolt question ( lowered )

I beleve there are places online to order u-bolts.

Don't settle for something less than a "full nut" of thread engagement.

Re: U bolt question ( lowered )

Oops. It's a 70 with rear coils. I'm just trying to get a mild drop for winter and bags are getting put in this spring. Just hoping for a cost effective way to get 2" out of the rear.

I'll check online. Thanks!

Re: U bolt question ( lowered )

Jeep Tj (96-02) coils in the rear will lower it 3-4inches and its a simple coil swap.
