Re: th350 problems

bogging is a term usually reserved for carb issues, is it losing power? or is the tranny slipping? could be the torque converter, or even a bearing.

Re: th350 problems

Was this a newly rebuilt TH350 with a new torque converter, or was it a used trans and torque converter? What engine do you have?

Thumbs up Re: th350 problems

I agree with Captainfab. Give us more info so we can help.
What is your rearend gear ratio? Stall of your convertor?
What size motor do you have? 283?
Cam?
Is the engine built to run properly with the trans? (The stall)

You are pulling a horse trailer. That's a lot of weight. Need a low gear, but it should match the engine, trans(stall convetor).

Re: th350 problems

It gets up to speed great but wont go over 3000 rpms it just makes a weird noise kinda like its just sucking air which would be the carb i would think.
