Turn High Life into a custom cab?

I'm on the fence. Graft it into High Life or just drive it and garage queen High Life. Or just move along.

Jason,
Just my .02 cents.
I would not do anything to either truck.
Use the High Life for fun..
And use the Miller Pony for a shop truck. Your still building your shop right?

The shifter and column is sloppy but I can fix that. The sails aren't bad. Has power steering. Gas tank is smaller.

A few leaks here and there. Hardware looked ok. Diamond plate bed floor. Ole farmer rear bumper.

That's a rough ol' girl there, Jason. Utility truck for sure. Love the 'spare parts'.

That aint no chet. Theres probaly 10lbs of bailing wire on it. But I think High Life will make a good custom cab. I'm gonna pull the sails and we will see how it looks. I'm definitly gonna pull the column and rebuild it and swap those out. It will make a good work truck and parts *****. It is supposed to be here at it's new home sunday.

I smell a Rat Rod. Don't touch High Life. Make it a Rat Rod as cheap as you can, and have fun with it.

Becareful if your gonna fit the sails on High Life. They like to scratch paint. Very sharp edges.

Re: Turn High Life into a custom cab?

I was going to stick some 3m to one of the sails and lightly/gentaly put one on. Just to see if I like it and see if I like it enuff to install them on High Life. The sails might not go with the flow of High Life. We will see. I'm dam sure swaping columns. The wife likes the idea of haveing a truck that can haul things in the bed with out breakin out the touch-up paint.

Run some tape around the edges of the mouldings to help reduce scratches.
