Project High Life Light.
Well this old dog fallowed me home. I had full intentions of partin her out for High Life. But I need a truck to use as a truck. She is gettin her cali mirrors reinstalled. The carb needs rebuilt bad. I think I have enuff High Life left overs to get her going. I have a couple extra wireing looms to fix that up.

Amazing isn't it, once one of these trucks makes up it's mind, it's hard to make them behave and stay where they were! Nice score.

Good stuff, Jason. Truck looks solid. It's nice having a back-up.

Re: Project High Life Light.
I got a parts truck for the 64. It will give me 4x4, 4 on the floor and all the other good stuff the 80s had to offer. I'm thinking it's gas tank will end up on the 65. I'll take care of the new chassis then put the 64 body on it with some body lift. Bigger tires and I'll go from there.

Re: Project High Life Light.
Nice!! You're good at holding off on projects; I jump back and forth and it seems like I'll never get there.
Looks like this will be a bunch of work.

Re: Project High Life Light.
Good score on the fishing lures, but I believe you owe it to the old truck to take it fishing one last time.

Re: Project High Life Light.
Thanks for the kind words guys. I can't wait to get started. I already filled up trash can "the big green 50 gallon or so ones from the city." with crap from the truck and put the spare from the 64 on the red truck just so it's back on it's feet again.
Paul, The 64 has no brakes and the red one don't run. So I'll have to settle for sitting on the tailgate andwhile I think about the fun I'm gonna have with this. |

Re: Project High Life Light.
Jason you could always flintsone it down to the nearest creek. That would be funny.

Jason, nice score on both rigs. I have a '66 K20 with factory running gear, if you want to keep it factory.
Keep us posted and congrats. |
