will an 84 3/4 ton front crossmember and suspension fit?

he is the thing. I got an 84 3/4 ton truck sitting here. havn't looked drastically at the differance in the frames but would the front suspension crossmember work on a 65 half to? its here and free and don't mind the 8 lug cause I got some nice wheels to go with it., if not i'll just get a 1/2 ton for the disc

The front crossmember will bolt right in, but you will need to get an adapter plate from CaptainFab for the gearbox. The rear end may have to have the spring perches changed out to use the trailing arm/coils.
There isn't any reason why you can't make it all work especially with a complete donor vehicle.

you could always just use the leafs and hangers off the 3/4 for the rear..

What are your plans for the truck? Bagged? if so you may want to just use the whole frame. Then you dont have to Z the front to get it to lay out. Just throwing that out there if you were wanting to bag it.
