i have a set of good condition (except the rubber) vent windows..
1)Is it better to have these rebuilt? - 2) can you recommend a person / vendor to do this? 3)how much should i expect to pay? 4)or should i buy some reproductions? 5)what is the opinion on the quality of the reproductions compared to stock? 6)where is the best place to buy? thanks for the help and guidance tom |

Re: wing (vent windows) what are the options
I`d replace the rubber.Repros are way pricey. The first ones sucked and recently better ones came out.i hear they are nice (in your hand).I don`t know of anyone who has run them yet.If yours need rebuilt, tear into them.if they aren`t rusty, the only thing I`ve seen them need is freeing up (with oil) or a broken spring due to not freeing them up soon enough.
