Camaro Control Arms
Anybody out there know whether Camaro/Firebird control arms will work with our frames? Alternatively, even just the coil springs? I have looked through all the old posts for anything on disc brakes/spindles, it looks like everyone is just using stock truck parts from 73-up for front discs/springs. I have a 68 GMC, I found a set of control arms off a 69-74 Camaro/Firebird/Nova/Acadian, haven't gone to look at them yet, was waiting until I could pull a set off another truck. Thanks.

Re: Camaro Control Arms
I'll go out on a limb here and say they absolutely will not work.

Re: Camaro Control Arms
Chevy truck uppers have a centered ball joint and Camaros are forward.
The rest could be technical paper of suspension design Mick |

Re: Camaro Control Arms
I have a 67 Camaro and a 68 C10 and it appears that the arms will not interchange and work properly without lots of fabrication.

Re: Camaro Control Arms
I was just throwing it out there....any ideas if the springs will fit in truck control arms? They both appear to be a 5 inch bottom end spring, obviously I need to figure out spring rate/ride height/compressed height/unsprung weight, weight of front half of truck, etc. I was looking at the ones from Moroso and was hoping to use a pair.
