Re: Sold my truck today

What are your plans for this one? Looks like a solid truck.

Oops sorry for the confusion, the blue and silver one is the 2wd we sold today. It was a pretty solid truck except for it needed new paint, clutch, front ps fender had been dented in from a blow out at one time, the ds dually was busted due to a trailer mishap, and the floor had lots of rust holes in it and you could see rust bubbling up under the paint all the way around the doors. I really wanted to avoid having to fix rust like that, so that's the main reason I traded my step dad for the 4X4 because it doesn't have any rust. The 4X4s front clip and and doors are pretty beat up but I can find straight ones on craigslist for real cheap. The other thing i liked about the 4X4 is that it was a cab and chassis model so it has a single cab on a longer frame so im going to extend the bed to about a 10 1/2 foot, I already got the wider dana 70 for the rear and a good dually bed I still need one more bed for the front half. Sorry this was so long but these are my plans.

The truck looks like hell but overall its a good truck, If you were to see them both in person you would understand.

Gotcha. That will be a cool truck. Keep us updated on your progress.
Sorry, the aggressive tires on the 2wd threw me off.

Re: Sold my truck today

Extending the bed? Oh, I can't wait for this one. I had a similar idea, but I was going the easy way with a flat bed. I was gonna put a standard cab on a crew chassis and flatbed the rest. PLEASE be sure to post pics!

Future plans-
Rear disc swap & Hydroboost
Dually conversion with shackle flip-n-switch
4x4 conversion with 52" springs
Maybe some new body panels
Who needs a car when they make crew cab trucks?
