Ran into a bunch of problems along the way, but it is all worth it. I'll start a build thread soon, but thought I would share this pic until I get the thread goin. Off to the alingment shop Friday morning. Thanks to those who helped with some of my questions.

Re: dropped the 77

Western Chassis flip kit in back, Western Chassis 2.5" spindles w/ 1.5 coils cut from the factory springs. That should make it a 5/6 drop or so. I like a little rake. All four tires tuck slightly.

Looks good ! I like the look of the truck dropped like that without the trim . I can wait until the build thread but we will all need those drop specs .

Yes, those are staying. They are 88+ steelies w/ chrome centers. They are powdercoated gloss black, and will receive some mild pinstriping around the perimeter lip. Trying to keep it low budget...or as low as I can.

Yellow truck is awaiting a return trip to the painter to fix some inside stuff. It is all assembled, minus the interior, just waiting to get the interior ironed out so I can wrap it up. I REALLY need to get it done this winter, our life is about to change big time next spring.

There was several 73-78 that came with the passenger side tank from the factory but that truck has a 79-87 bedside though

Re: dropped the 77

I picked up on the little teaser pics of the 73 in the 73-74 grille thread and what I see looks great .I noticed it was mostly assembled and went to 73-87.com but I didnt notice any updated pics so I am just patiently waiting .

Re: dropped the 77

All i can say is it was always a pain to put gas in if it wasn't sitting level from the factory,I drove the one in the pic off the showroom floor in April of 1980!
