Re: rams horn manifolds
Back in 69 the GM engineers seemed to think so.

I have a '69 down to the bare frame with the motor in it but it is a big block so I don't think pictures of it would help you. LockDoc

Re: rams horn manifolds
I agree with Leon... If you have the correct ones they will clear. with my experience, you will need the ones that angle towards the back instead of dumping straight down The straight dumps will interfere with the starter unless you go with a mini..... ...

Re: rams horn manifolds
Here are my two cents worth, I am building a 67 short bed using a 72 frame, the 67 has a home grown 327 with the rams horn manifolds, I media blasted them and painted them VHT ceramic coating (came out extremely nice) my ultimate plan are a very good set of shorty block hugger headers, but that is when I replace the 327 with a nicely built 350.

Re: rams horn manifolds
I have a 72 with 350 and my ram horn manifolds dump out the center ,,which would put the header pipe straight into the crossmember. Ya need ones that dump out the rear ,as previously stated.-KB

Re: rams horn manifolds
I believe 2 WD Stock all came with angled manifolds and the center dump was a 4 WD aplication.

Re: rams horn manifolds
I thought I read that some guys here are running the Corvette 2.5 inch straight dumps with no problems. Dorman makes them new now.
