3/4 and 1 ton front ends

does anyone know what the difference is in the front ends of the the dually trucks and the single wheel trucks? i have a dana 60 rear end and was thinking about using it on my 65 i can get the front end for free but its from a dually and i wasnt sure if it would work i figured this was the best place to ask thanks for the help.

You have to change out the hubs to single wheel hubs

the dual rear wheel front rotors have the hub casted in to them all you need to do is change the rotors from the drw to the srw rotor the spindel and caliper are the same

no they dont, but drw rotors are different than srw rotors.


d60 front drw hubs can have the outer lip machined off and be turned into srw setup. the drw rotors have a slightly smaller hole and are BOLTED to the hub.

srw rotors are pinched to the hub with the wheel stud, like a d44/10b. you can drill the holes out if need be.

drw rotors are also thicker, but they will still use the same caliper and pads.

keep the drw and use h1 wheels.

it looks like casted as one to me. the one's that i just took off look the same along with the new ones I put back on

so thats it,just change out the rotor from dually to single..?????The spindles are the same?!?!?!...........AWESOME
I have a set of drop spindles for a 1ton and I guess the 3/4t is the same thing!

the caliper is differant between the 1T and the 3/4 and I dont know if theirs a differents between the thickness of the rotors on the 3/4T and the 1T's
