Poll for inner fenders

Ok guys I'm trying to talk nate to come out with his own inner fenders for the guys with lowered trucks. I feel there is a great need for some. He would be the perfect person, he already makes dropmembers, soon to be hinges, and rear dropmembers. This would fit right into his product line. Let me know what you think. I'm thinkin of something like the Highgear hotrod truck RETROACTIVE (sorry i don't have no link) but nate could put his own touch to them.

I agree and Nate you can use my black truck as the ginney pig for this!!! For all of the 73-87 truck guys? I think that there would be alot of people wanting to have a nice set of inner fender wells and with Nates talent they would be kick A$$.

Re: Poll for inner fenders

poor Nate. he's got lists of things to design and build before he even knows about them!

Honestly, I think inner fenders would be hard to build to fit a variety of trucks, due to all the different set-ups with suspension, steering, brakes, engine acc. etc. There's so many variables on placement on all the stuff.
Maybe something like a basic formed fender that the buyer trims to fit thier unique set-up?

appreciate you chimin in Nate! Yeah i do need that notch first and I do want the hinges too! I think these inner fenders would be a hit! You would pretty much have taken care of all problems encountered when lowering the front ends of these trucks.

Re: Poll for inner fenders

After building a set of my own from the factory ones (and not being happy with the end result) I can honestly say that these will not be cheap. Are you guys sure you would be willing to shell out the dough it takes to turn a profit on a pair of these?

On another note, put me down for a set.

Re: Poll for inner fenders

I agree with smashingchuck, i bought a set of grant kust tubs with the welded in sides, and am in the process of cutting and putting them into my factory fender wells so they will still bolt in, even to get this right is a lot of work , i hope i will be happy with the outcome

Re: Poll for inner fenders

it would be tough to make some for everybody, but some universal ones to cut to fit would be cool

i agree, thats what we are really talking about here. Something we can put in and cut or trim to fit. If anybody can do it Nate can. I do expect nate to make money doing these, most of us will pay for quality even if we gotta save our pennies for it. With Nate we know Quality is what we will get and he always has a knack for making it easier for the guy at home doing these trucks.
