Carb question
I have a '72 custom 20 4x4 that I bought about a month ago. It has a mildly rebuilt 383 in it. The guy I bought it from put a edelbrock performer carb with electric choke on it. Numbers on it say 1406 8071. Looks to be a 600cfm model. I knew this wasn't going to work if I wanted to go 4 wheeling.
Couple questions: 1. What would be a reasonable price to ask for for it? 2. I am looking for a new rebuilt q-jet. I have found a place called I-5 automotive and also SMI sean murphy induction. I have researched Jet and haven't seen the greatest feedback on them. Any info on these products or ideas on others would be great. Thanks, Jesse Last edited by homer77; 11-02-2009 at 10:40 PM.
