sprung a leak

popped the hood last night and noticed the paint was peeling off the inner fender which prompted me to check the master cyl that was ok then this combination valve and sure enough it's leaking its comming from the center fitting the one with a bleeder pin. I noticed some of you guys dont have this prop/combo valve, can i just remove it and bolt directly to the mc or should I just by a new prop/combo block

Re: sprung a leak

The combo valve is essential to balancing the pressure between the front and rear brakes. Some that don't appear to run the valve have mounted it somewhere else. Mine is on the front crossmember below the motor perch on the drivers side. It makes changing spark plugs much easier and looks cleaner. I also lost my share of paint before getting everything buttoned up.

Re: sprung a leak

Trucks trashed. Time to give me the truck and just get a new one, it's the only option

Re: sprung a leak

Bowtie try moving the pin in/out several times to see if it quits leaking, other wise replace, by the way we`re neighbors.....
