what hve you done for a driveshaft on your s10 swap? I have an extended cab short box so I will need to shorten the frame already and then move the 4.3 V6 back 6 inches also. did you just cut your factory shaft that much?

That's pretty much what I did... machined out the end, cut it off for what I needed, rewelded it back together, machined the weld and then took it in for balancing and repainted it.... done.

Mine's the 2 pc shaft w/ 3 Ujoints as well... just for the record.... I cut the short shaft.

I haven't done mine yet, but I'm either going to modify the 2 piece shaft or switch to a 1 piece shaft. I've found that 4wd and 2wd shafts are different lengths (obviously, because of transfer case) and I think I can mix and match parts and get pretty close to what I need.

FYI, I'm using an extended cab s10 frame and then I cut 2.375" from the front of a long box and running boards and it's going to work pretty slick.
