instrument cluster option?
I am thinking about making a custom instrument cluster like many of yal have been talking about lately...
Do you think I should make on or use a deluxe one made for my truck? Here are my options:

Re: instrument cluster option?
I am going with a custom one myself. Having a buddy of mine cut out the plate for me and will be installing Auto Meter Z series gauges.

Re: instrument cluster option?
A quick Google search turned up a couple of options. Some are real triple chrome plate and some are paint systems:

Re: instrument cluster option?
No I don't Vern
Looks like Mark found a couple though. Seems like there are a few places that specialize in plating plastic automotive parts.I'll let you know If I find one....don't know how $$ it would be though.

Re: instrument cluster option?
the vac gauge should work fine on anything that has a vacuum source (ie any engine), tach im not 100% on, but I would imagine it would work.

Re: instrument cluster option?
As long as the tech came from a v 8 I don't think the orginal tech will work on both i-6 and v8. It does'nt have a select switch.
