Another dumb question - how to remove instrument cluster?
It's hard to see what I'm doing up in there...I'm trying to remove the cluster without damaging it. Do I need a special tool to remove each knob first, or can I pull it out as one unit?
Thanks!

You have to remove the knobs. One of them, I think it's the choke, has a piece of metal from the dash that the assembly goes through. I just used needle nosed pliers to undo the nuts on each switch.

Don't forget the headllight switch has that button to push in on the side of the switch that you push in as you are pulling the knob and shaft out. You'll have to reach up under the dash to get to it. I then use a BIG washer to fit in the slot to unscrew the retainer on the front of the dash that is holding the switch to it.
