You can always appericiate the work it took to get that where it is. With that said, it should be illegal to have that thing in daylight.

Re: check out these longnose gmc v 12's
I've checked on that thread here and there for a couple years or so......I give Coyoterun an A for effort, but it isn't quite my style. Now the green and white one, that is pretty nice. I'd like to see more of the "Funnytruck" that is towards the end there.....he should be posting pics of it over here.

Re: check out these longnose gmc v 12's
I could live with the spring green truck, if the front fender wheel arches were proportionate to the front wheels, sans the side pipes that are planned.

Re: check out these longnose gmc v 12's
What would we like a, Stub nose,,,Stock,,,,mild,,,or long nose??????
The reason of the long nose is the engine is 24' + longer. That puts in deep into the cab. As it is, it is 7" in the cab. Then add the tranny hump? If there would be a better way, I am all ears. The open area is designed because of the massive heat this 1800 lb block produces and for zoomies later. I still have time to fill that part. What are your ideas for pipes then. I also might go back to running it without the hood. Who wants something the same as everyone else? Look at Jonzcustomshop rides. I wish I had that talent and the talent of a lot of your rides. Some of are rides may not be 10's, it is the labor of love to make a daily driver by yourself. Thats where I give Coyoterun a A+ and any other old farts like us that can still do builds befor some joints gives out. We all love to personalize these old classics. |

Re: check out these longnose gmc v 12's
I like it. It may not be something I would do, but the work you have in that truck is absolutely awesome!
It must feel nice to say, "Yeah, it's a 702, v12"... Great work... Thanks for sharing....

All I can say is that isn't my cup of tea, but wow I'm blown away with the patience and the amount of work/thought that went into those trucks. Really impressive.

i think you should fill that space behind the front tires with custom pipes... 6 on each side would be sick

Re: check out these longnose gmc v 12's
He is building some pipes for her. I admit, although the long nose doesn't do it for me...the rumble of 702cubes out of 6 big pipes each side would be sick! Damn thing has to sound like a tank.

Re: check out these longnose gmc v 12's
here is cayoteruns motor with the stacks... he gives it a couple revs about a minute in, his redlines at 3000 rpm
if you link all the way to youtube and check out the comments, he mentions the equivilent in miles the hours this motor ran in its life

Re: check out these longnose gmc v 12's
If you lookin for a cool street truck this isnt your cup of tea...But when he posted the video of it drivin arround the yard. I couldnt help but crack a smile and say thats cool. I know my grandpa would think that was sweet. Thats oldschool farmer cool. Tons of personallity in those trucks.
Building the truck arround the engine is cool. Its may not be completely asthetically pleasing but when you say 702 V12 that dissappears and all i can say is COOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLL... Jory |
